AS + A2
A-Levels Maths Tuition
Overview
How I approach A-Levels Maths
A-Level maths demands independence. Students are expected to handle pure mathematics, statistics, and mechanics with precision, and the questions often test whether they understand structure rather than only procedures. I teach AS and A2 by first checking algebraic fluency because almost every topic depends on it. In Pure Mathematics, functions, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, differentiation, and integration need careful step control. In Statistics, students must understand distributions, probability language, and interpretation. In Mechanics, diagrams, modelling assumptions, forces, and motion equations need discipline. My classes focus on concept clarity, exam-style solving, and error analysis. A-Level students often need fewer motivational lectures and more exact feedback: which step was invalid, which assumption was missed, and which method would be faster. I also help students connect topics so that calculus is not treated separately from graphs, and mechanics is not treated separately from algebra. The target is exam readiness with enough depth for university-facing pathways.

Personalised Maths Programme
Small batches of 3-5 students, ₹8,000-30,000/month. See full pricing.
Common Gaps
Algebraic manipulation slows down otherwise strong students.
Mechanics errors often begin with a weak diagram or missing sign convention.
Statistics marks are lost through language and interpretation, not calculation alone.
Students practise topics separately but struggle when papers mix methods.
