A maths tutor who fixes the root cause.

When a concept makes sense, confidence follows. I'm Swastik Sahal. I teach maths to Classes 8 to 12 in groups of 3 to 5, for CBSE, ICSE, IB and Cambridge, and I have taught every class myself for 13+ years.

The real problem

The gap is older than the chapter.

Today's chapter feels hard.

Class 10 trigonometry, or whatever is on the table right now.

The gap is often from years ago.

A Class 8 algebra idea that never settled is usually what is costing the marks.

So I fix only what blocks this year.

The diagnostic finds those gaps. Each one is repaired alongside the current syllabus, never instead of it.

The method

Four steps. No guesswork.

FindThe diagnostic finds where it broke.

Every student starts here. A 60‑minute teaching session, not a written test. It checks the fundamentals two to three years back and finds exactly where marks are being lost. You get a clear written report before any long-term commitment.

RebuildOnly the missing idea, nothing more.

The specific gap is retaught alongside the current chapter, so the syllabus keeps moving. Teaching is at least 4 hours a week, and more when your child needs it.

PractiseCorrected at the exact line.

Practice is set from your child's own mistakes. The working is photographed and sent to me on WhatsApp, and I mark the line where the logic went wrong, in real time, before a bad habit forms.

CheckWe check what has settled.

Regular checks show what is secure and what needs another pass.

A real mistake, fixed

See how I teach.

A mistake many children make, and how one class fixes it.

Area model for the square of a plus b A square divided into a squared, two a b rectangles, and b squared. a²ababb² abab

(a + b)² = 25

a² + b² = 13missing something

a² + 2ab + b² = 9 + 12 + 4 = 25

Step 1 — Draw it.

Draw a square with side a + b.

Step 2 — Cut it.

It splits into four pieces: a², ab, ab and b².

Step 3 — Count it.

a² + ab + ab + b². The student forgot the two middle pieces.

Step 4 — Now the rule makes sense.

(a + b)² = a² + 2ab + b², and your child can see why.

(a + b)² = a² + 2ab + b²

72 seconds

The whole method, start to finish.

How every concept is taught, practised and secured.

What parents say.

Rated 4.8 on Google from 500+ reviews.

Google review by Naveen Kumar: My son joined Ankuram Tuition Centre for Grade 8 Maths, and the improvement in both confidence and problem-solving ability has been excellent. Before joining, he used to struggle with algebra, linear equations, and word problems, and would often get stuck even after studying for long hours.

What we liked most about Swastik Sir’s teaching is that he focuses heavily on fundamentals instead of rushing through chapters. Every concept is explained step by step, and students are made to actually understand why a method works instead of memorising formulas. The small batch size also makes a huge difference because every student gets personal attention and doubts are cleared immediately.

Over the last few months, my son has become much more confident in solving Maths independently. His school performance has improved noticeably, especially in topics like Algebra, Exponents, and Geometry. He now attempts higher-order questions without fear and has started enjoying the subject much more.

If anyone is looking for serious Grade 8 Maths tuition in Jubilee Hills with strong concept-building and individual attention, I would definitely recommend Ankuram Tuition Centre.

Google review by Shashi Repani: My son completed Class 10 ICSE Maths and Physics tuition at Ankuram Tuition Centre, Jubilee Hills. Swastik Sir’s small-batch teaching built a strong foundation. Results were excellent. Now continuing for Grade 11 and SAT preparation. Highly recommend for personalised coaching in Hyderabad. Best tuition centre near me!

Google review by Sinu Mudiraj: We enrolled our son in Ankuram Tuition Centre for IB MYP Year 5 (Grade 10) online tuition in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, and the transformation has been remarkable. Before joining, he was struggling with the criterion-based assessments and couldn’t connect concepts across subjects. Within two months, his confidence and grades improved dramatically.

What sets Ankuram apart is the small-batch approach — only 3 to 5 students per batch — which means our child gets individual attention in every session. Swastik Sir doesn’t just teach formulas; he builds understanding from the foundation up. For IB MYP Year 5 Maths, he focused on algebra and functions using real-world applications that actually made sense to my son. In Physics and Chemistry, the inquiry-based teaching aligns perfectly with how IB MYP assessments work — Criterion A through D.

The online classes are just as effective as in-person. Screen-sharing, live problem-solving, and weekly diagnostic tests keep students accountable. As working parents, the flexibility of online IB MYP tuition was exactly what we needed.

If you’re looking for online tuition for IB MYP Year 5 Grade 10 Maths, Physics, or Chemistry, I highly recommend Ankuram Tuition Centre. It’s not a large coaching factory — it’s personalised, rigorous, and results-driven.

Questions parents ask.

What does it cost?

The diagnostic is ₹750 for CBSE and ICSE, and ₹1,000 for IB, IGCSE and Cambridge A-Levels. Teaching is a minimum of 4 hours of live teaching a week, from ₹12,000 a month. I take responsibility for every student I accept. If your child needs more time, I give it, and the monthly fee follows the hours taught.

Is there enough time before the board exams?

For Class 10 and Class 12, the syllabus is planned to finish by the end of January, leaving time for timed board-pattern papers before the exams. Old gaps are repaired alongside the current syllabus, never instead of it.

Which classes and boards do you teach?

Maths for Classes 8 to 12.

  • CBSE: marking schemes award marks for each correct step, so solutions are written out step by step.
  • ICSE and ISC: complete, well-set-out working is practised, every step and every reason.
  • IB MYP: all four criteria are covered: A Knowing and understanding, B Investigating patterns, C Communicating, D Applying mathematics in real-life contexts.
  • IB DP: Analysis and Approaches, and Applications and Interpretation, at SL and HL.
  • Cambridge IGCSE: Core and Extended. Method marks are earned by working, so working is trained as carefully as answers.
  • Cambridge A-Levels: method and accuracy marks; an early slip costs the marks that depend on it, so accuracy is drilled as hard as method.
How big are the groups?

3 to 5 students. After the diagnostic, each student is placed with others at a similar level.

Is it in person or online?

In person at Jubilee Hills, online on Google Meet, or hybrid: weekdays online with extended weekend sessions at the centre.

What happens in the diagnostic?

Every student starts with it. A 60‑minute teaching session that finds where your child's understanding broke. You receive a written plan afterwards. It is a standalone session.

Who teaches the classes?

I do, every class. There are no assistants.
